Meghan Quan, MS, CCC-SLP

As a mother of three children, each of whom struggled with feeding difficulties, I have lived through the emotions and struggles that parents face when they are not able to feed their children. Whether it was experiencing a nasogastric tube with my premature daughter, not being able to feed my oldest son with a bottle or having to thicken my younger son’s liquids to avoid aspiration, I have developed a unique understanding and compassion for children and families because I have walked in their shoes. Remembering what those days were like and wanting to help others along their journey motivated me to pursue a career in feeding therapy. With the founding of Phoenix Feeding Therapy, I was able to bring my passion to life.

I am a speech-language pathologist with over 12 years of experience in the medical and private settings in the areas of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. I have participated in advanced courses and training programs specializing in the assessment and treatment of infants, toddlers, and adolescents with medical, sensory, and behavioral feeding difficulties. A native to Arizona, I started my career as a speech pathologist/pediatric feeding therapist at Cardon Children’s Medical Center in 2009. I joined Phoenix’s Children’s Hospital in 2011 where I was a valued contributor to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Swallowing Rehabilitation Clinic and Intensive Feeding Therapy Program for more than 3 years. My experience also includes 3 years in private practice in central New Jersey. Prior to founding Phoenix Feeding Therapy, I owned and operated Hope & Wellness Feeding Therapy in Hopewell, NJ from 2018-2020.
